Ben Bina NMLS 2729340 arrived at the Jay Dacey Team in summer of 2025 as to launch our reverse mortgage division. Ben works with seniors, their families, and their financial planners to explore how a reverse mortgage can help seniors enjoy their sunset years and maximize their financial situation in retirement.
Ben comes to the role with extensive experience in personal coaching and insurance. His openness and desire to connect with others make him a great fit for the team.

Jay Dacey NMLS #375033 founded Jay Dacey Mortgage Team in 2019 after fifteen years as a successful mortgage loan officer and branch manager. He has helped hundreds of clients in Minnesota and Wisconsin by providing them with the knowledge and mortgage tools they need to feel confident in their financial situation. With his deep knowledge base and trustworthiness, he continues to provide unmatched service while managing a growing mortgage origination team.
Jay graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2002 and is currently a member of the Leadership 360 Master’s Program, an exclusive coaching program run by mortgage industry icon Tim Braheem.
Out of the office, Jay puts his leadership skills to work in a different way: coaching his daughter’s grade school basketball team. He lives in Roseville with his wife Kristin and two kids.
